 Matthew Saggiomo grew up in the small town of Sayre, Pennsylvania, where at age 6, he began his dance training in all styles and continued his training at Elite Danceworx in Ontario Canada under the tutelage of Dawn Rappid. Matthew then attended Point Park University where he earned his BFA in Dance in 2022. Additionally, Matthew has attended dance training programs at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Utah's SALT Contemporary Dance. He has also worked as a company member with GroundWorks DanceTheater from the years 2022-2024 under the direction of David Shimotakahara where he performed new creations by Rena Butler, FLOCKWORKS, Sidra Bell, Antonio Brown, Spenser Theberge, Olivier Wevers, and many others. Matthew enjoys how dance allows him to explore worlds without limits and be creative to an endless capacity. IG: mattsaggio
